Automation to Existing Gates.

The correct choice of motors will be determined by the position of the gate hinge in relation to the gate post.

On some existing gates where post mounted openers are to be used, it may be necessary to modify the gate hinge position or gate post in order to install certain post mounted gate openers.
Where it is not possible to modify the posts or hinge position, we can supply a gate post mounted motor with an articulated arm (joint motor or kit). This usually allows the installation to be completed without to much modification.

Generally, the most popular gate motors are available in kit form. These all include transmitters & photo-electric photocells etc, because these kits represent our volume products, they are usually more competitive than purchasing the items individually.

CAME NICE FAAC and BFT supply a range of automatic gate equipment for both residential and commercial applications. BFT and FAAC gate openers are available in both electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic.
Electro-mechanical are generally used for light-weight domestic applications and electro-hydraulic are used for heavy duty domestic and commertial applications

It is worth noting that many other companys offer either machanical or hydraulic equipment, but not both. As such they will obviously have a preference for the type of equipment that they supply. We can offer YOU the choice!!.
